Brook Primary, Ingestre Hall 2019
In what was an extremely busy week, Ingestre welcomed the children from Brook Primary School, Stourbridge for a 2 night Arts Residential. The group participated in Dance, Drama, Visual Art and Music workshops during their stay. The theme for the week was time travel, which resulted in some mystical and intriguing work being made.
The Children can walk away from Ingestre with their heads held extremely high. In only 2 days we had full performance’s in Drama and Dance as well as high quality Visual Art work and even a fully produced Music track. Each group put their own unique spin of the theme of travel inventing works that simply blew their teachers away.
Having crammed a weeks worth of creativity into only 2 days it’s no wonder that the Children let loose during their free time. At Ingestre there is always something to do! Brook Primary enjoyed a relaxing night in our 3D cinema watching ‘Monsters University’ thinking about the future of their artistic endeavors…. There were games and activities in our grounds, with some very competitive football being played. To top off the last night Brook Primary finished their stay in style with a classic Ingestre Disco.
All in all Brook Primary were a fantastic group and one that all of the Ingestre staff enjoyed having to stay. The group made some fabulous work that they can be extremely proud of! We can’t wait to have Brook Primary back at Ingestre next year!
