The week before half term can be a frantic one to say the least however, this week, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Ingestre was host to a shared residential with both Ferndale and Hanbury creating some incredible work.
The theme for the week was Animals and Habitats, leaving the creative licence wide open for the group to explore.
Considering the two schools had not met before the results produced at the final sharing were truly inspiring. We had two Visual Artist’ tutors who came in and experimented in the theme in two very different ways, which created some diverse and intriguing pieces of art. Richard had his Actors and Actresses draw their audience in with a truly captivating rendition of life in the animal kingdom. And Tara, as always, had worked tirelessly with her dances, producing a final performance that words cannot do justice.
Week after week Ingestre Hall is host to creative talent from all over the UK however, Felix Pepler explains that “ both Hanbuey and Ferndale schools attitude to creativity expressed a passion that I have not seen so bright in many years, the group should be extremely proud of what they have achieved.”
