"Creative learning at its best"

This week the Mayans invaded Ingestre. The Children from St Albans participated in a range of action packed workshops and social activates. Ancient Mayan masks were made in Visual Art with strange rituals being carried out in Animation and Dance as well a brilliant performance in Drama.
The group also had a range of social activates, exploring our WWI interactive exhibition. Throw in a movie and disco night in the mix and you will have the formula for one happy group of people.
Some fantastic work was displayed in the groups final sharing’s. Heather (Ingestre Art Tutor) had said this “it was as if the Mayans had come back to life! Ingestre was a flurry of activity and creative flare, resulting in works that the Children of Samuel Ryder Academy should be extremely proud of, because we definitely are.
A massive thank you and well done from all of the staff here at Ingestre Hall!
