Another fantastic week full of talent and creativity. Windsor Park school have been visiting Ingestre for a number of years and each year they come they raise the bar for the next. The theme for the week was based on Charles Dicken's ‘A Christmas Carol’. Students produced astonishing work with Christmas wreaths in Visual Art, festive songs in Music, a unique spin on Scrooge's story in Dance and a classic production in Drama.
The group enjoyed the festive activities in a cold week in Staffordshire. There were movie nights in the cinema room, hot chocolates and blankets, arcade games, pool and table tennis. The parents of Windsor Park came to visit on the student’s final day and were shown all of the great creations that had been made during the week. Felix Pepler, Ingestre’s Head of Centre, comments “We love it when Windsor come to stay, they are such a unique and vibrant group who are a genuine pleasure to be around”
Windsor also completed their Discover level Arts Award with us which is a qualification licensed through Trinity College, London that strives to open children’s minds to creative ways of thinking and the potential that follows. This is something that we are extremely proud to offer as the development of future creativity is the inherit reason for our existence.
